Day 1: Hanoi – Lan Ha Bay (L/D)

  • 11:45 – Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

  • 12:15 – 13:00 – Transfer by tender to Velar Of The Seas Cruise. Welcome drink & safety briefing.

  • 13:15 – Enjoy a delicious lunch while sailing into Lan Ha Bay – quieter and less crowded than Halong Bay.

  • 14:45 – 16:10 – Visit Dark & Bright Cave by kayak or bamboo boat.

  • 16:45 – 17:45 – Swimming in the sea or relaxing in the onboard pool.

Weather-related Policy

All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.

If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

  • Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

  • Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
