Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay

  • 08:00 – 08:30: Pick-up at Hanoi Old Quarter hotels (for guests booking transfer service).

  • 11:30 – 12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

  • 12:00: Transfer by tender to Le Journey Luxury Cruise. Welcome drink, safety briefing, and check-in.

  • 13:15: Lunch served while cruising through Halong Bay to Lan Ha Bay, passing Finger Islet and Candle Islet.

  • 15:00: Explore Tra Bau area – kayaking and swimming at the famous filming site of Kong: Skull Island.

  • 17:00 – 18:00: Sunset Party on sundeck, Happy Hour, and Cooking Class (Vietnamese dishes and fruit/vegetable carving).

  • 19:00: Deluxe dinner onboard.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai Village – Cat Ba Island

  • 14:00: Visit Ba Trai Dao Beach or another quiet area in Lan Ha Bay. Free time for swimming and kayaking.

  • 15:30: Return to Le Journey Luxury Cruise. Sunset time with music, cocktails, and relaxation.

  • 19:00: Dinner onboard.

  • 20:30 – 22:00: Evening activities: karaoke, Sky Bar cocktails, squid fishing, or simply relax in your cabin with balcony views.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Quan Y Cave – Hanoi

  • 05:45 – 06:00: Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries.

  • 07:15: Transfer to Gia Luan Port, then by car to visit Quan Y Cave – a historical wartime field hospital hidden inside a limestone mountain.

  • 09:00: Return to the cruise. Check out and hand in room key.

  • 09:45: Brunch served while cruising back to the harbor.

  • 10:30 – 11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau Harbor. Shuttle bus returns to Hanoi, arrival around 15:00–16:00. Trip ends.

Weather-related Policy

All overnight cruises in Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay require official permission from the Bay Management Authority to stay overnight.

If adverse weather (storms, strong winds, high waves, etc.) occurs, the Authority will suspend overnight operations to ensure safety. In such cases, Sundara Vietnam will:

  • Assist with rescheduling to another available date that suits your itinerary, or

  • Provide a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
