This tour is designed for travelers who want to experience 1 night at a basic home stay in a hill tribe village, go on a long trek to the most popular tourist attractions in Sapa and, of course, it costs much less than going by night train, even lower than other tours organized by Vietnam Daily while still receiving pleasant support.
Night 1: Hanoi – Sapa by night bus (Meal: No)
Pass By: Ta Van Village, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
21.30: Pick up from the meeting point (bus stop) in Hanoi Old Quarter, get on a big bus and depart for Sapa Town.
23.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city and have the first rest stop.
02.00: Second rest stop at Lao Cai city before heading to Sapa.
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa by bus with a long trek Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van village (B, L, D)
05.00: Arrive at Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people. And wait about 30-45 minutes at the bus station for the tour guide and driver to pick you up to the restaurant.
6:00 – 6:30: Have breakfast at local restaurant.
8:30 – 9:00: Start hiking through Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. You approach Ta Van village where Giay Ethnic People inhabit in late afternoon.
The trekking distance is about 9km-12km and it lasts for 4 hours
12:30: Enjoy the lunch at the local restaurant.
14:30: Check in homestay and relax or discover the Ta Van Village by yourself to know the family of Dzay People.
Spend time enjoying the mountain life on Sunset. You may attend cooking local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner in peace. In the evening, you can join the local bar nearby with music and socialize with other tourists.
Overnight at the Bungalow in Ta Van Village.

Day 2: Ta Van –Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (B, L)
Pass By: Giang Ta Chai Village, Sapa
8.00: Have breakfast prepared by the family and start a new day with a more interesting trek.
8.45: Keep walking to the rice paddies where you have a nice photo session of the amazing surrounding landscapes; a trek through the bamboo forest; a stop to have a panorama view of Giang Ta Chai village – home of the red Dzao people.
The trekking distance is about 4-5 km and it lasts for 3.5 hours
11.00: Trek through the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to the main road.
12.00: Enjoy lunch at homestay.
Day 3 : Midium trekk to Ta Van Mong- Hang Cung village- Sam 2 village – Lao Chai and return to Ha Noi (B, L,D)
7:00 -8:00 Have breakfast
8:30: Trekking distance is about 5-6km and it lasts for over 3 hours
9.00: Trek through the Ta Van Mong
10.00: Walk to Hang Cung Village for break taking view of terraced rice fields which is home of Black H’mong people then keep heading to Sam 2 Village and then go back Lao Chai village and our the homestay for lunch, after that van transfer you go back to Sapa town for meet all group member.
13.30 – 15.30: Get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two rest stops.
21.30- 21.45: Arrive Hanoi, and go back to your hotel by yourself.
Trip ends.

Thing To Bring
- Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
- Due to the altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
- You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
- Homestay’s facilities are not as good as hotels in Sapa.
