This tour is designed for travelers who want to stay longer in Sapa and want to experience 1 night at a basic homestay in a hill tribe village and 1 night at a hotel in Sapa, saving lots of money in comparison to going by night train. You will have free time between the lines to enjoy Sapa’ hidden charm, especially the friendly services provided by Vietnam Daily trips. The first night in the bungalow can be changed to the second night. This depends on group size and bungalow availability. Our tour leader will inform you on the bus on the way to Sapa.
NIGHT 1: HANOI – SAPA BY NIGHT BUS (MEAL: NO)
Pass By: Ta Van Village, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
21.30: Pick up from the meeting point (bus stop) in Hanoi Old Quarter, get on a big bus and depart for Sapa Town.
23.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city and have the first rest stop.
02.00: Second rest stop at Lao Cai city before heading to Sapa.
DAY 1: A SHORT TREK TO CAT CAT VILLAGE (B/L/D)
Pass By: Cat Cat village, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
05.00: Arrive at Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people. And wait about 30-45 minutes at the bus station for the tour guide and driver to pick you up to the restaurant.
6:00 – 6:30: Have breakfast at local restaurant.
8:30 – 9:00: A short walk to the gate of Cat Cat village, which is the home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photos with the bridge and waterfall; then you will walk up hill for the bus to pick you up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
The trekking distance is about 2.5km and it lasts for 2 hours.
12.30: Enjoy the lunch at the local restaurant.
14:30: Check in hotel and relax or discover the Sapa Town by yourself.

Day 2: Long trek Sa Pa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van Village (B, L,D)
Pass By: Y Linh Ho, Sapa, Lao Cai Province
7:00-8:30: Have breakfast at the hotel in SaPa town and start a new day with a more interesting trek.
8.30-8.45: Trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain
The trekking distance is about 12 km and it lasts for 4 hours
12.00 – 13.30: Have lunch with delicious Vietnamese dishes made by the family. In the late afternoon, you arrive at Ta Van Village – home of the Dzay ethnic group.
14.30: Back to Sapa town, Freetime afternoon
19:00: Have dinner and overnight in a hotel with night activities.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: Sapa- Fansipang – Ha Noi (B, L)
8.00: Have breakfast in the Hotel.
8.45:After breakfast, our driver will take you to Cable Car Station and then you will spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.
Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).
12.00: Come back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town
12.45: Have lunch at the local restaurant.
15.00: Meet all the group members at the hotel to get ready for Hanoi.
15.30: Get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two rest stops.
21.30- 21.45: Arrive Hanoi, and go back to your hotel by yourself.
Trip ends.
